Effect on Willow Watch face Version 4.0.0
After updating Willow Watch Face to version 4.0, you may notice the watch face is no longer in your selection list, or you might find that it displays only time with a black background.
This is because we've made a major update that migrates the watch face from the legacy watch face engine to the modern engine to ensure full compatibility with Wear OS 5.
Due to this significant change, your system detects our watch face as an entirely different application from the previous version, causing it to be removed from your favorites list. Don't worry though - the watch face is still installed on your device and can be easily restored to your selection list.
Follow these simple steps to get Willow Watch Face back:
Let's try to temporarily select another watch face first. You can pick any watch face.
Then tap and hold the watch face to enter the watch face selection screen.
On your watch face selection screen, scroll to the right end until you see the plus (+) sign
Tap on the plus sign
Scroll down through the available watch faces
Look for "Willow Watch Face"
Tap on it to select
Your Willow Watch Face will now be restored to your selection list with all the new improvements and features of version 4.0.
